Cruise motors are the electric outboard motors of choice for powerboats, dinghies, and commercial uses.

All Cruise systems are equipped with an integrated GPS with on-board computer and display showing input speed and power, charge status and remaining range. The drive unit is compact, lightweight and low drag thanks to an advanced helical gear design.

The Cruise 6.0 T is an outboard equipped with a 48 volt rudder, with an output equivalent to 9.9 horsepower, perfect for boats up to 6 tons.

The Cruise 6.0 is also available in a version with remote steering or at fixed pod .

Questions & Answers - Cruise 6.0 T

  • What is the on-board computer used for?

    The trip computer integrated into the remote control lever on the Cruise R and the tiller handle on the Cruise T analyzes and combines engine and GPS information.

    Engine consumption and GPS speeds are always accurately displayed.

    If the Cruise is powered by a Power 48-5000 battery, the battery charge status and range information for remaining capacity is also accurately shown, as the two products communicate. Super practical!

  • What are the advantages of the Power 48-5000 battery for the Cruise?

    The Power 48-5000 lithium battery has a much higher capacity and a much lower weight than conventional lead-acid batteries. In other words, it does not weigh down your boat unnecessarily – and gives you more autonomy and efficiency.

    In addition, the electronics of the Power 48-5000 communicate with the on-board computer, which means that battery data such as e.g. the remaining distance and capacity are always correct.

  • Can the on-board computer communicate with lead batteries?

    Yes, subject to certain restrictions.

    If the Cruise is powered by lead acid batteries, the displayed state of charge (and therefore remaining distance) is estimated from the battery parameters entered during initial motor setup.

  • Which cruise for which boat?

    All Cruise models are suitable for inflatable boats and other small boats.

    For dinghies and sailboats up to 3 tons, the thrust of the Cruise 3.0 is more than enough while the Cruise 6.0 pushes 6 tons without difficulty.
