Sikaflex Primer 209D 250ml

Description
Sika? Primer-209 D is a low viscosity black primer, which dries by reaction with ambient air.
It has been specially formulated for the treatment of painted surfaces and plastics before
application of Sikaflex? polyurethane adhesives.
Sika? Primer-209 D is manufactured according to ISO 9001 and 14001 quality assurance rules and the “Responsible Care” program.
Application areas
Sika? Primer-209 D is used to improve adhesion on the following substrates:
Paintings:
Acrylics, alkyds/melamine,
powder coatings, cross-linking varnish
by cooking.
Plastics:
Acrylic (PMMA), Polycarbonate
(PC), polystyrene (PS), GRP (PES
and EP), ABS, PVC, etc.
Given the extreme variety of chemical compositions as well as surface conditions, it is recommended to always proceed
in preliminary tests.
Ask the manufacturer for advice before using this primer on substrates sensitive to stress cracking (acrylics, polycarbonates
or ABS, etc.)
This product is exclusively reserved for professionals.
Tests on real substrates must be carried out to check the adhesion and compatibility of the product.
Application method
Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of any contamination such as dust, oil, grease.
Apply Sika Aktivator? using the degrease + dry wipe method and allow to dry. Vigorously shake the
bottle of Sika? Primer-209 D until you hear the beads spinning freely in the bottom of the bottle.
Continue shaking for about a minute.
Sika? Primer-209 D can be applied with a brush, felt or foam applicator pad, or with any other applicator
appropriate. Sika? Primary-209
D must be applied in one
layer, fine and uniform.
