The quick-release fairleads are installed at the exit of the cam cleat. They feature low-friction angled stainless steel wire guides that keep the line away from the cleat to prevent it from accidentally jamming during maneuvers. They are perfect for applications requiring quick release of ropes, especially when lowering the spinnaker when passing a buoy. Harken cam cleat fairleads are made of tough, abrasion resistant composite materials. The kit includes a Cam-Matic® 150 cleat.
