Cam cleat on ball bearing - Cam Matic Micro
Ball-bearing, easy-open cams
The stacking of several rows of high-strength ball bearings reduces friction and facilitates the opening of the jaws. No need to pull on the rope to engage it in the jammer, just lower it for immediate blocking.
The tip and the progressive V-shape of the jaws facilitate the guiding of the rope.
The adjustment of the sails is more precise without it being necessary to readjust the tension of the rope in the jammer.
The Teflon® surface treatment of Cam-Matic® aluminum speeds up the engagement of the rope in the cam cleat.
The Cam-Matic® is the only cam cleat allowing the engagement of the rope under maximum tension.
Honed Teeth
The rounded teeth firmly hold the rope tightly, without shearing it.
High-strength or featherweight models
Hardkote anodized aluminum Cam-Matics® feature superior power and life for applications requiring permanent adjustments.
Available in Micro, Standard and Offshore sizes.
Lightweight composite Carbo-Cams® for racing, when weight is critical or adjustments are less frequent.
Available in Micro and Standard sizes.
Long Term Protection
Ball bearings and Carbo-Cams® benefit from maximum protection against UV radiation thanks to a black carbon additive.
