The battery of the Ewincher electric winch handle has a long autonomy, sufficient to go out without problems during the day.

The autonomy of EWINCHER varies mainly according to the use you make of it and the size of your boat.

Examples of use with 1 charged battery on a Dufour 405:

In 10 to 15 knots of wind: hoist the mainsail 3 times then perform 40 tacks while maneuvering the genoa only with Ewincher.

Or hoist an 85Kg team member to the top of the mast 3 times (climbing height 14.50m)

Charging time: 1h30 on both 12V and 220V

For boats over 45 feet and over we recommend a battery.
