Blocks with a removable pin are ideal for use as halyard blocks at the foot of the mast or for any other application where clearance is limited or which requires direct fixing of the block. Mounted on the right padeye, these blocks do not hit the deck when the halyards are soft, they allow free movement of the halyards for quick maneuvers. On fractional rigs, thanks to the direct meshing of the cable on the axis of the pulley, they are used in the composition of backstay tackles. Hard anodized cheeks and sheaves with PTFE treatment for a perfectly smooth surface and maximum UV protection.
