Hyde Sails commitment to the Flying Fifteen class cannot go unnoticed. Hyde Sails sail designer Richard Lovering sails in the class and having won both the 2015 and 2017 National Championship can also be found sailing from his home club on the south coast or on the open meeting circuit. The sails we currently supply are to the design that Richard used to win the 2017 Championship. Richard will continue to campaign his boat with a view to competing in the next Worlds in 2018.

This sail is designed for crews under 27 stone. Developed from the Code 2A. A cross cut sail, it has shown itself to be very powerful in light airs. As the wind increases the sail flattens off easily with use of mast bend, kicking strap and Cunningham controls whilst still retaining an efficient shape. The head of the sail works well to provide good taste response making the boat easy to steer upwind in a breeze.
