The novelty that everyone was waiting for. Launched in 2011 in Europe, the J 111 became a success in just a few months.
With more than a dozen pre-orders registered even before her launch, expectations for this new 36-foot one-design could be high. A few hundred units of this model should sail around the world from the end of 2012. This enthusiasm, supported by the recognition of the international class by the ISAF, makes it possible to develop a one-design regatta program very quickly.

The J 111 is a concentrate of technologies. It is built in "SCRIMP" infusion pushed to its climax to provide the best possible stiffness-to-weight ratio. The mast is made of carbon, the choice of section has been optimized in order to have the profile that best suits the boat; this reduces the weight in the tops while maintaining the best dynamic characteristics. The finish of the appendages, suspended carbon rudder and mixed cast iron/lead keel is impeccable and the standard equipment is generously sized and uses a range of the best products on the market.
The interior has not been forgotten, however, with a headroom of 1.80m; a real chart table and kitchen with oven and cooler equipped with a cold unit. It is therefore entirely possible to do coastal cruising with the family, especially as the J 111 retains all the attributes of the other Js, ease of maneuvering with a reduced crew and high ballast stiffness for better stability.
