Having not been particularly active in the Mirror class for a number of years this is about to change as Hyde re-focus their efforts towards the major One Design dinghy classes.
The Mirror stands out as one of the classes with a high participation at both club and championship level.
To that end Hyde will focus on the class to stay at the forefront of design and therefore the front of the fleet.
Our Mirror sails are well proven and offer excellent value for money.


Mainsail Code 2C
The cloth we use for producing Mirror sails is 3.75 Polykote ripstop, a sailcloth best used in a cross cut panel layout.
The thread lines and bias stretch allow the sail designer to shape the panels to stand up in the light winds while the inevitable stretch can be used to depower the sail.
With the panels running into the luff at an angle the bias on the cloth allows the Cunningham to work effectively.
With the mast having no lower support careful attention has to be paid to the lower luff to ensure the sail does not over starve in high winds while not being too full in the lighter breezes.
Sails are available for both the new all alloy mast or the gaff rig.
The sail comes complete with numbers, battens and long sail bag.
