These high-end fiberglass / foam racing Optimist foils with sanded pro finish are manufactured in high quality CNC designed mold to be the most ultimate racing foils.
Optimist One Design racing foils from Optiparts are built according to the new class rules and used at many World and Continental IODA Championships. Class rules have standardized Optimist daggerboards and rudders: size, shape, epoxy, foam and fiberglass. Both Optimist rudder and daggerboard are made to the maximum thickness allowed to create Optimist foils as stiff as possible under the given rules. The Optimist daggerboards from Optiparts are fitted with nicely finished teak wood battens.
