Prijon BARRACUDA RS

THE BARRACUDA RS IS A VERY FAST KAYAK FOR SPORTY AND AMBITIOUS PADDLERS.

 Made for the morning lap on the lake, racing marathons and long-distance competitions, trainings in the evening and longer tours with a small amount of luggage.

Due to its slim shape, combined with a small rocker, together with a pronounced V-spant, the BARRACUDA RS is the roadster among the Prijon kayaks. Not only for advanced paddlers but also for talented beginners! 

Available in a hand-laminated, superlight and robust Carbon-Aramide construction with high qualitative resins, for the lowest possible weight and the stiffest possible hull. Or standard hand-laminated polyester-wet Laminatee as GRP. Lighweight, stiff and extremely robust.

 Take your time to get used to the BARRACUDA RS and you will have a great time!

 The Barracuda RS is available in several color combinations. This are our standard colors (standard: GRP kayaks bottom is always white, CA kayaks bottom is always visible carbon-aramide fibers), other colors and combinations are possible on request and at a premium.

Reinforced deck:

Our kayaks are constructed to be as light as possible. If you are a heavy paddler or plan to do re-entries etc. it could be helpful to have a reinforced deck. For this, we add an extra layer of glassfiber/carbon-aramide with transverse reinforcement to the rear deck, at a premium. The weight of your kayak increases by approx. 2 kg.  

Full-carbon bottom

As an alternative to the carbon-aramid bottom you can also choose a full-carbon bottom at a premium.
